Green Smoothie

Today I may have gotten a bit carried away with the kale in my smoothie. Just wanted to post what a typical smoothie may look like:

6 ounces of homemade almond milk

1/2 cup frozen organic strawberries

1/4 cup frozen organic blueberries

1/2 frozen organic banana

1 handful of washed kale leaves (about a cup)

2 tablespoons Billy’s Infinity Raw Protein Powder

Add all of the ingredients to a blender and puree until smooth.

  1. Yumm! do you know how many calories in all the stuff you are making? Just curious.
    Also is Jay Robb a good sub for protein powder or does it need to be Billys?

    • I may start inputting some of the calories into my nutritional program but right now I am enjoying not knowing. They will certainly add up with the nuts, so it is important for me not to over nut! Jay Robb isn’t raw (not sure if his rice protein is raw or not) so it’s just an individual choice. The Sunwarrior protein is awesome – may be hard to find – we order it direct from the manufacturer.
